User Agreement

Thank you for using ToneCraft. By opening, accessing, or using the ToneCraft WeChat Mini Program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by it. If you do not agree, stop using the Mini Program.

1. Service Description

The ToneCraft WeChat Mini Program provides instrument tuning, metronome, and related practice-assistance features. Pitch detection and beat indication may be affected by your device’s microphone, speakers, the WeChat runtime, environmental noise, and hardware capabilities. The Mini Program is a practice aid only and is not professional musical, engineering, medical, or safety advice.

2. Permissions and Device Features

The tuner requires microphone permission, and metronome audio requires support from your device and the WeChat runtime. You can manage microphone permission in WeChat or device settings. Denying permission may make the tuner unavailable, while other features that do not depend on the microphone can continue to work.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Mini Program only for lawful purposes and to comply with applicable laws and WeChat platform rules. You must not interfere with the normal operation of the Mini Program or WeChat platform, or use the Mini Program to infringe the rights of others, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

The Mini Program and its interface, graphics, text, audio, and related content are owned by the developer or the applicable rights holders. Source code, tests, and configuration files in the public repository that are expressly licensed under Apache-2.0 are governed by that license. The ToneCraft name, logo, trademarks, brand, and visual assets not expressly licensed are excluded from that license. Except as permitted by an applicable license or by the applicable rights holder, you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works.

5. Updates and Availability

We may update, adjust, or discontinue features for product improvements, security, system compatibility, or legal reasons. The Mini Program may be temporarily unavailable due to device, WeChat runtime, network, or third-party platform issues. We will maintain the Mini Program within a reasonable scope, but do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

6. Disclaimer

The Mini Program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You should independently determine whether its results are reliable for your device, environment, and intended use, and you are responsible for decisions and consequences arising from your use of the Mini Program. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect losses caused by device failures, permission restrictions, environmental noise, interruptions in the WeChat runtime, or improper use.

7. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Mini Program after an update means that you accept the updated Agreement. If you do not agree, stop using the Mini Program.
